Safety accessory in open circuit heating systems (fireplaces, pellet boilers). Its function is to absorb the increase in water volume
consequent to the increase in temperature. The expansion tank must be located above the highest point reached by the water circulating in the system and must have an expansion volume not lower than the expansion volume
of all the water contained in the system.
