Kronos, the only real compact fireplace with excellent efficiency that burns all types of biomass

Wood, pellet and multi-fuel fireplace “extremely compact” and with extraordinary performance. Specifically designed to easily adapt to all types of needs of new modern families, always on the run with little time available and who don't want to waste their savings on exorbitant management costs. The Kronos is able to maintain the efficiency of a thermo-stove , while burning wood and unlike a normal thermo-fireplace, being equipped with a fume extractor, it is able to modulate the burning rate of the wood thanks to the possibility of varying the number of revolutions of the extractor.

Totally multi-fuel

The innovative burner with bottom feed allows you to completely burn all types of multi-fuel (wood, pellets, hazelnut waste, almonds, corn pellets, washed pomace kernels, etc...) inside the combustion chamber itself, without the annoying need to put or remove plates, baskets or anything else.

Innovative bottom loading

The large tank is connected to the circular cast iron burner by means of a double-stage auger plus rotary valve . The advanced bottom loading technology therefore allows you to take advantage of multiple advantages:

 lack of cleaning of the burner;

 clean white flame and always with the right amount of oxygen;

 reduction of fuel used since when the boiler goes into stand-by, for new re-ignitions it does not use any other fuel, but takes advantage of the ember effect to restart;

 possibility of using pellets and biomass of any type and quality . Since the burner is also equipped with removable ring , once removed, can burn even the most difficult fuels as the surface of the same is wider with additional holes for combustion.

Simplicity of programming and use

The electronic control unit with touch screen display offers simplified use of functions with a modern design. Programming can be carried out directly on the "machine board" for convenient management both automatically and manually; alternatively it can be managed by a thermostat remotely from any room in the house or with a GSM/GPRS modem or wifi module or with a dedicated App application (upon request).

Self-cleaning heat exchanger and high safety

Perfect hybrid combination between the thermo fireplace exchanger and the thermo stove exchanger, both Famar patents. The fumes are conveyed into the heat exchanger (patented) which is made up of alveolar ducts, suitably sized and such as to cause the fumes to take on a swirling motion. The fumes therefore, forced to create vortices to get out, transfer their calories by forced convection and the great heat contained in the fumes is transferred to the water that circulates in the interspace. Since the honeycomb ducts are designed longer, compared to the normal Famar thermo-fireplaces, they make it possible to obtain a higher efficiency comparable, if not superior to that of thermo-stoves, whether pellets or wood are burned.
