ECO SV: THE SELF-CLEANING FIREPLACE
The exclusivity and capacity of the ECO SV exchanger brilliantly avoids the typical problem of all water boilers that use woody biomass:
the deposit of combustion residues (e.g. creosote, pitch and others) on cold surfaces. The exchanger having the fins welded on the surface
of contact and therefore fixed and not removable, makes the structure a dry chamber (patented system) which becomes incandescent as the fumes pass, exceeding the lysis temperature of the unburnt smoke particles and distillates, burning them further. When these combustion deposits burn, they produce additional energy and are transformed into easily removable ash. Throughout the life of the boiler, efficiency remains constant , from the first to the last day of use, because there is no accumulation of creosote or deposits of unburned products in the exchanger, with the advantage of being able to burn any type of wood or biomass without ever getting clogged. .
PATENTED HEAT EXCHANGER
In the ECO SV closed fireplace the fumes are conveyed into the heat exchanger (patented system) made up of suitably sized honeycomb ducts. In these stretches the aspirated fumes are forced to make vortices exchanging energy not only by contact but also by convection (adduction).
Due to its particular shape and design, the exchanger heats up to incandescence, exceeding the lysis temperature of the smoke particles with the result of releasing further energy which is transferred to the water circulating in the interspace, lowering the temperature of the fumes coming out of the smoke duct as well as acting as an abatement cyclone.
